From the next season of IPL (a.k.a IPL 2013/ IPL 6), You can see the auction of uncapped Indian players. The BCCI has decided to hold auctions for uncapped India players.
According to an article published on TOI, On Sunday IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla said “It was the proposal of Shashank Manohar (former BCCI chief) to auction all the domestic cricketers to avoid any form of corruption in the game. All domestic players will be auctioned from the next edition.”
Sukla added that the auction purse for each franchise would be raised accordingly, but details would be worked out later.
At present, uncapped Indian players can earn a maximum of Rs 30 lakh per IPL season. However, this has led to allegations of some domestic stars getting money under the table, or perquisites which are worth far more than their official salary. A recent TV sting operation saw these murmurs getting louder.
