IPL 2013 Team Players. List of IPL 6 Teams and Players. The sixth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) will see nine teams competing for the glory including the newly added Sunrisers Hyderabad which comes to the league in place of now defunct Deccan Chargers.

IPL-Season-6-logoThe list of teams which will participate in the Pepsi IPL 2013 (IPL 6) are follows:

Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Pune Warriors India, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Chennai Super Kings are the two times champions of the IPL and the most successful team of the game so far while the Kolkata Knight Riders won the fifth season of the IPL.

In October 2012, the teams were allowed to release any number of their players from their contracts to reduce their player costs. The released players would enter the auction. Starting from this season, domestic players will be put into auction. The players’ auction will be held on 3 February 2013.
